Sahaita has pledged to provide assistance to those in need, educating the community, as well as assisting other organizations working to attain these common goals. Below are the projects that Sahaita is involved in. Click on a title for more detailed information about the project.

We are supporting children at the Bal Bhawan complex in India. The complex includes two schools and a residential area. We help meet the daily needs of these children and also provide free dental, eye, and surgical care for them. [read more on The Bal Bhawan Project]

Sahaita frequently holds health awareness camps in both India as well as in the United States. Patients are screened for high blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, etc. and are able to seek advice of a doctor. [ read more on Medical Camps]

The Sehatnama is a Sahaita's own preventative health education booklet written by a team of members of Sahaita. It focuses on important diseases and some general topics about health that exist today. Sahaita will consider helping Orphanages and Institutions who approach us with genuine proposals for help and provided the Board of Directors approve such proposals. During a Natural Disaster we will consider helping other Non Profit Organizations with similar interests and vision. [read more on Supporting Other Organizations]

The success of Sahaita and of other such organizations depends on funding. Money is a vital variable in this whole equation that is Sahaita. Without proper funds, the organization will not be able to function, and thus not be able to accomplish all the tasks these projects impose. Along with moral support, we also need financial support. In our efforts to provide preventative health education to the community, Sahaita frequently holds radio talk shows in the Bay Area, California with full support from Radio Apna Punjab. We educate the community on various topics ranging from heart disease, to cholesterol, to diabetes, and many more. [read more on Radio Talk Shows]
